Open Positions

    • Set the overall direction, vision, and strategy of Covalence. Inspire and motivate team to achieve organizational goals.

    • Make key decisions regarding Covalence’s operations. Evaluate risks and opportunities to guide Covalence’s growth.

    • Represent Covalence in public forums, conferences, and media interactions. Manage Covalence’s public image and reputation.

    • Work closely with the CEO to develop and execute Covalence’s operational strategy.

    • Streamline and optimize organizational processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.

    • Foster collaboration and communication across different executives. Ensure coordination and integration of activities to drive seamless operations.

    • Develop and implement financial plans, budgets, and resource allocation aligned with Covalence’s strategic goals.

    • Raise money through grants and fundraisers.

    • Establish and run a Covalence grant program for the most promising projects, events, and chapters.

    • Develop growth and scale plans with the CMO and Global Ambassadors to increase youth network and organization network numbers.

    • Develop and execute engagement strategies to increase activity within the youth network and organization network.

    • Receive constant feedback from network members and communicate with fellow executives to increase the quality and productivity of the networks.

    • Oversee the implementation and execution of Covalence programs (Projects, Events, Chapters, and Global Ambassadors). Develop program timelines, budgets, and performance indicators. Monitor program activities, track progress, and ensure adherence to established goals, timelines, and budgets.

    • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including program partners, funders, beneficiaries, and community organizations. Collaborate with partners to ensure program success, gather feedback, and incorporate input into program design and implementation.

    • Establish evaluation frameworks and mechanisms to assess the impact and effectiveness of programs. Monitor program outcomes and make data-driven decisions to improve program performance. Report program results to the Covalence board.

    • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Covalence’s overall organizational objectives. Identify target markets, positioning, and messaging strategies to effectively reach and engage youth leaders.

    • Plan, execute, and evaluate marketing campaigns to promote Covalence programs. Coordinate with internal teams to develop compelling campaigns across various channels.

    • Develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including website optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing. Leverage digital platforms to reach global youth leaders and drive engagement.

    • Oversee day-to-day technology operations, including the Covalence Squarespace website, Slack workspaces for the youth and organization network, and marketing newsletters.

    • Organize Zoom links and schedules for Covalence events. Keep track of all Zoom recordings and edit recordings to post on Covalence socials.

    • Collaborate with the CMO to develop and execute digital marketing strategies, including website optimization, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing. Leverage digital platforms to reach global youth leaders and drive engagement.

Eligibility & Time Commitment

  • Open to all youth leaders ages 15 - 25. Please note that we evaluate applicants based on experience and abilities, not age.

  • Time commitment: at least four hours per week.

  • Time frame: all selected applicants are expected to complete a one-year term. Exceptional team members will be asked to return, and members who fail to meet their commitments may be asked to leave before the first year.

  • Applications due October 1, 2023.

  • Has a deep understanding of the target audience and a youth-centric approach. Gathers youth feedback and iterates on programs/networks/team operations. Builds strong relationships with youth members and provides exceptional experiences crucial for sustained growth.

  • Adept at networking, establishing relationships with investors, mentors, industry experts, and potential collaborators. These connections can provide valuable guidance, resources, and growth opportunities.

  • Stays updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices. Actively seeks knowledge and feedback and adapts their strategies based on new information and insights.
